Concrete Fence Wall Installation Process

StoneTree™ Fence Walls do not require a continuous foundation. At each column location, an engineered footing is prepared that is designed to meet the local wind load and soil pressures of the project. The proprietary AFTEC Combo-Cast™ technology used to produce the StoneTree™ Fence Wall System requires the implementation of AFTEC’s Rigid Footing Support process. This method employs a 4” steel I-Beam or comparable rigid structural support which is installed into a pier footing 15 feet on center. The application of the rigid support provides many benefits to the StoneTree™ construction process. Benefits of the Rigid Footing Support System:
StoneTree™ wall sections are installed by lifting each piece in place and aligning the panel and column section between the rigid steel supports. At the column end of the panel, a ten inch deep slot encompasses both the rigid steel support and four inches of the preceding fence panel, thus locking the system in place as one full unit. A concrete cap is secured to the top of the columns to complete the installation process.
